Since the recording and visualization of the tracks in 3D has proven to work pretty stable, I created a first app to be available in the Google Play Store.
It is named Trackz and ut is a serverless variant of the client.
It features a statistics display about the recorded tracks which makes it interesting as sports utility app. The statistics feature list is currently very basic, but I am planning on adding more and more statistics soon, so that it hopefully will become a useful app when hiking, running or biking outdoors.
It is not meant to be a replacement for endomondo, runtastic, google fit and the like. It is meant to be a no-frills easy to use app, to just see how long we have walked today and how many calories this has burnt. No more no less.
