Between the ping an poing clients basically an encrypted communication channel is setup. It is used to transfer files from one to another. Mime types are used to determine the type of the transmitted files.
As a special case, the mime type “text/message” is used to exchange chat messages between the two client sides. The clients have an extra tab to type text and send it as text message over the net.
