Qt 5.4 beta is out :-)

The Android installer for Linux is available here:

Linux 32bit → http://download.qt-project.org/development_releases/qt/5.4/5.4.0-beta/qt-opensource-linux-x86-android-5.4.0-beta.run

Linux 64bit → http://download.qt-project.org/development_releases/qt/5.4/5.4.0-beta/qt-opensource-linux-x64-android-5.4.0-beta.run

Installation: 

chmod +x qt-opensource-linux-*.run
sudo ./qt-opensource-linux-*.run

I am hoping that Qt 5.4 brings relieve for a couple of issues on Android:

  • EXIF support via MetaDataDirectory
  • improved QML camera stability
  • QML video capture lockup
  • QML torch component
  • QQuickWidget support
  • QWebView support

I can’t wait to try it out…
